Life is an extraordinary, yet unique series of sequences and events, it always has been and it always will be.

The meaning of life is whatever meaning you choose to give it.
The meaning of life is to create the meaning.
This may sound simple, however the meaning that one may choose to create for one’s life might be totally complex. This is because one is open to infinity when one is free to choose what they create in terms of the meaning of their life. We can choose anything.
A simple idea leading to possibly complex manifestations.

If someone tells you the meaning to your life or gives you the meaning of your life then its no longer your life, but theirs.
When YOU create the meaning to your life you are also affirming that it is YOUR life.
You have created it, you have chosen that meaning.
It is not for us to tell another person what the meaning to their life is or should be.
We can only choose for ourselves the meaning to our own lives.

This by the way is the one of the fundamental reasons behind conflicts of all levels, from personal through to wars. We believe that we have the right to tell someone what the meaning of their life is. However, that for another post….

    LIFE
    - Its simple – You live to die..
but then why you live if you have to die?

I will tell you this using an example.
compare your life with a dream..

when you sleep…and you watch a dream…you just get to much involved in the dream.that you forget your real identity..

In same way when a kid is born..this world is just like a dream..he first reacognizes his real self(as in initial phase of your dream )but when he gets involved in this world he forgets his true identity..

So as we watch a dream..in same way …a person lives his life…as a dream can be pleasant or nightmare..in same way a life can be good and bad,…

When a person watches a nightmare..he suddenly wakes up ..shockingly and then neither can sleep or be awake…in same way if a person’s having a bad life he kills himself…and then he can neither live or neither die(ghosts!! or wandering souls..whatever you may call them)

and if your life is pleasant..like a sweet dream…you tend to sleep long..and in the morning if someone wakes you up…you say..lemme sleep me more..in same way ..if you are living a pleasant life..at the time of death you tend to say …lemme live more…

In india..there are two things that are considered to be the motto of life..KARMA and DHARMA…

    Life is its own meaning.

We live to live and to continue, preserve, and enhance, life.

Biologically, to make as many healthy babies as possible. Emotionally, to be happy.

The meaning of life…hmmmm…for me it’s about creating. We are here to create. Whether it be a blog…children…a decent chocolate cake…or a website dedicated to philosophical answers from everyday people. We over think questions like this in my opinion. (And no one over thinks more than ME.) It doesn’t always have to be earth shattering either. We think that’s what it is…having to be profound….because “famous” people get all the press.

    No…in our own way…if we create…we live.

There is no meaning to life other than to survive.
I think what everyone is referring to here is the ‘meaning’ that refers itself back to us…self aware and inquisitive beings, intelligence relating to a self belief that puts us (the human race) outside of every other part of nature…as something more than just natural…something spiritual.
Wrong. We are the perfect example of what nature is capable of…we just haven’t managed to get used to that fact yet and so we struggle with our idea of what it ‘means’ to exist.
We may be nature evolved but our ‘meaning’ is the same…to survive and continue our existence so that we may remain in some way or another…it is instinct. Any other concept is one which we have put upon ourselves.
What i think we’re all asking is…what is the intellectual meaning of my existence…on this level it is an individual thing…but what seems to be true across the board is that everyone is searching…looking for a type of knowledge, in whatever form that may take…and knowledge can only be found by asking questions and coming to conclusions from which we learn about life and ourselves…so maybe the answer is to continue searching for answers and meanings because there not a few but many.

Badly worded question… There is no meaning to life, in the big sense. Our existence is pointless. Good ol’ human condition.

However, that doesn’t mean YOUR life can’t have meaning. It can have whatever meaning you bother to give it. To be happy, to help people, to make the world the better place, 42, to continue the human race are all good ones though.
