The arts - for instance, can be devoid of sense, and even illogical, yet in the mind of the artist it was what made sense at that moment in time. In broad terms sense will mainly apply to the common consensus of what is logical and sensible, however sense can also be born of personal opinion or perception. If sense refers to the senses, however it is harder to determine what makes sense, I do, however, believe that there are additional senses there to be used if you leave your mind open to them.
